HF Announces the Launch of Its IH Research Award Program

Today the Hypersomnia Foundation is very proud to announce the launch of its idiopathic hypersomnia (IH) research award program. This program will provide funding to support medical students, physician residents and fellows, postdoctoral fellows, and other researchers who are interested in unlocking the mysteries of IH. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis to support various projects (such as conference travel stipends and research internships/externships), and awards will range, on average, between $1000 and $5000. (Honorable mentions will also be awarded.) The applications will be reviewed by the HF’s Board of Directors, as well as by the HF’s Medical and Scientific Advisory Boards.

Funds for the HF’s new research award program come directly from donors. Additional donations are always welcome, and can be made in a variety of ways. (https://www.hypersomniafoundation.org/donate/)

Application materials, as well as more information about the application process, can be found on the Hypersomnia Foundation website. (https://www.hypersomniafoundation.org/research-award-program/)

The Hypersomnia Foundation encourages anyone who is interested in researching IH and related sleep disorders to consider submitting an application.
