Get involved

Learn how you can become more involved. Hypersomnias aren’t in the mainstream of healthcare, so we encourage you to advocate and take an active role in the hypersomnia community.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we welcome and encourage your donations so that together we can truly make a difference in the lives of people affected by hypersomnia sleep disorders. With financial support from our community, we’re able to fund our leadership team, operations, and research grants. Thank you for your support!

Join our international patient registry

Your voice matters! Help us solve the puzzle of hypersomnia sleep disorders. If you live with idiopathic hypersomnia, Kleine-Levin syndrome, narcolepsy type 1 or 2, or hypersomnia associated with certain other conditions, join our registry and share information about your symptoms, treatments, and diagnostic journey. Registry participants can also sign up to find out about upcoming clinical trials. Sharing your data helps researchers study new medicines and other treatments, find better ways to diagnose sleep disorders, and more.

Learn about clinical trials

Clinical trials are research studies that help find new treatments and medicines, creating hope for people with all kinds of health conditions. If you’re considering taking part in a research study or clinical trial, read our FAQs and lists of ongoing research studies. We also provide results of past studies. You can learn about eligibility, length of studies, therapeutic treatments, and much more.
