ABOUT
Idiopathic Hypersomnia Day (IH Day) is devoted to informing and acknowledging idiopathic hypersomnia on a global scale. IH Day mobilizes the IH community to raise awareness, educate, and uplift the voices of those living with idiopathic hypersomnia.
IH Day is collaborating with Idiopathic Hypersomnia Awareness Week (IHAW) led by Hypersomnolence Australia. The IHAW will start with the IH Day on June 1st and will conclude on June 7th 2024. We are grateful to be partnering with Hypersomnolence Australia.
Together we hope this collaborative action will accelerate the diagnosis process, advance research to find the cause, and reduce stigma. #ThisIsIH

IH Day T-shirt Design Contest
Design a t-shirt to celebrate the first official Idiopathic Hypersomnia Day. The purpose of this contest is to acknowledge the awareness day by designing an image that represents your interpretation of a brighter day for idiopathic hypersomnia.

We have created a couple frames to add to your photos for social media! We know it can be difficult living with an invisible disorder; our goal for Idiopathic Hypersomnia Day is that you feel seen. Send us a photo! We will add the frame and then email it back to you. We have “I 🖤 a person with IH” option as well.
CELEBRATE IN PERSON
Commemorate IH Day in person – Come celebrate IH Day in person with us at Hypersomnia Foundation’s 2024 #BeyondSleepy Conference in Houston, TX. There will be a ceremony and other community events throughout the conference day. (More details coming soon)
