Announcing New Web Pages on Disability and Health & Prescription Medicine Insurance

Saving Money On MedsInsurance coverage is a major concern for people with chronic disease. Will health insurance appropriately cover doctor appointments, tests and treatments? If insurance doesn’t cover certain prescription medications, how can they be accessed for the lowest price? If the time comes that one is unable to work full-time, is disability insurance in place to replace a portion of the lost income? When do you file disability claims, and how do you appeal insurance denials? To help answer these questions and more, we have added a Disability and Insurance web page in the alphabetical list of Resources on our website’s main dropdown menu, where you can choose from a menu of topics including:

  • Disability Insurance Planning
  • Disability Insurance Claims
  • Health and Prescription Medicine Insurance Overview
  • Health and Prescription Medicine Insurance Denials and Appeals
