PHILADELPHIA: AAFP (American Association of Family Physicians) Family Medicine Experience (FMX) 2019

Event Details

Note: This is not a patient event. Read on to learn why HF is participating in this important meeting!

As part of HF’s new 2019 initiative, we are reaching out to the professionals who are most likely to encounter sleepy people! At this conference, HF will exhibit and network among 5,000 family medicine physicians in order to raise awareness of IH and provide education about rare sleep disorders to medical professionals who are most likely to encounter sleepy patients first. Most medical schools provide only 3 hours – on average – of instruction about sleep, and HF wants to encourage family physicians to consider the possibility of a sleep disorder when diagnosing a sleepy (or fatigued) patient.
