SAN ANTONIO: SLEEP 2019 – APSS (Associated Professional Sleep Societies) Annual Meeting

Event Details

Note: This is not a patient event. Read on to learn why HF is participating in this important meeting!

HF will exhibit and network among more than 5,000 sleep medicine providers, researchers and pharmaceutical companies to raise awareness of IH and related disorders and advocate for increased research and better treatments. Attendees come from around the U.S. and across the globe.

HF Board Members will be on hand to welcome the expected heavy traffic at our exhibit booth at one of the most important annual sleep medicine meetings; we will network, educate, and distribute brochures and information. When appropriate, we will offer internet signups to our online provider directory on our website. We will also attend meetings with other sleep organizations and pharmaceutical companies. Finally, HF will host a private annual meeting of our Medical and Scientific Advisory Boards and this year, our Board of Directors will hold an in-person Strategic Board Meeting to set short- and long-term goals and objectives to advance HF’s mission.

NOTE: This year, there will be several sessions for sleep professionals on idiopathic hypersomnia, as interest in researching and treating this disorder has grown. In addition, HF Medical Advisory Board chair Dr. Lynn Marie Trotti will present during the poster session. At least one HF Board member will attend each of these and prepare written reports for our SomnusNooze newsletter!
